Recent Grants

The City of Evansville Endowment Fund recently awarded grants totaling more than $137,500 to 16 nonprofit organizations in Evansville:
 

Ark Crisis Child Care Center

$4,720 to purchase and install a commercial grade dishwasher for the child care center

Aurora, Inc.

$3,330 to purchase and install ceramic tile in key areas of the facility

Carver Community Organization

$10,000 to purchase and install new carpet and vinyl floor in the Carver Neighborhood Center

ECHO Community Health Care

$9,995 for renovation of the John Street Clinic lobby and nurses station

ECHO Housing Corporation

$10,000 for building site acquisition and preparation in order to construct three homes in the Jacobsville neighborhood area for purchase by low-income families

Evansville ARC

$10,000 to purchase and install a touch-pad security system at the main entrances of the Training Center facility which houses the Child Life Center and Day Services Program for Adults

Evansville Association for the Blind

$10,000 for renovation of the facility's freight elevator in order to meet Indiana Code requirements

Habitat for Humanity of Evansville

$10,000 for building site acquisition in Evansville's fourth and sixth wards

IMPACT Ministries

$9,963 to purchase and install a new HVAC system for the gymnasium

Lampion Center

$8,392 for renovation of the facility to provide an additional private therapy room and other needed updates

Our Greater Community

$10,000 to assist with the development costs for the construction of three homes in Evansville's fourth ward that will provide affordable homeownership opportunities to low-income families

Patchwork Central

$10,000 to purchase and install two new heating and cooling systems for the Meetinghouse

St. Vincent's Day Care Center

$1,500 to purchase and install a fence for the toddler playground

The Potter's Wheel

$10,000 to purchase and install metal panic doors and a security camera system for the facility

Tri-State Public Teleplex/WNIN

$10,000 to purchase and install a new heating and cooling system

YWCA of Evansville

$10,000 to replace the water chemistry control and filtering systems for the swimming pool
