Grantmaking
Overview
Each year, the City of Evansville Endowment Fund (CEEF) awards grants to a wide range of nonprofit organizations for innovative and ongoing projects that serve the City of Evansville. The requirements and instructions provided here are to be considered current and accurate only for the duration of the CEEF's grant cycle. Program requirements may change from year to year; therefore, grantseekers are advised to revisit this page prior to beginning the grant application process.
Grant Cycle
The Foundation's grant cycle runs from May through October each year. Funding requests are accepted only during our grant cycle. Those submitted at any other time will not be considered. A notice of the start of each year's grant cycle is mailed to nonprofit organizations that have applied for or received grants in the past or that have otherwise requested notification of the start of CEEF's grant cycle.
Letter of Intent
A Letter of Intent is the required first step for submitting funding requests to be considered by the CEEF. The Letter of Intent helps in determining whether a funding request qualifies for consideration before the applicant invests time and effort in completing a full grant proposal. Please visit our Submit a Letter of Intent page for further instructions.
Funding Minimum/Maximum Range
The CEEF grants committee will consider funding requests of any amount. Requests of at least $1,000 are preferred.
