Education and Literacy Fund

The Alliance Education and Literacy Fund was established in 2007 with funding made possible by Lilly Endowment, a long-time advocate for education and community foundations throughout Indiana. The fund is designated to support programs and initiatives in the fields of education and literacy. Because this field is quite broad, the Alliance has elected to focus the fund’s early proceeds on Early Childhood Literacy. The fund's reach will change and broaden over time.

The Education and Literacy Fund is a regional fund, which means that it aims to reach throughout the nine counties that comprise the Alliance's service area—Daviess, Gibson, Knox, Perry, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh, and Warrick counties.
