Recent Grants

The City of Evansville Endowment Fund recently awarded grants totaling $180,000 to 19 nonprofit organizations in Evansville:
 

Albion Fellows Bacon Center
$16,515 for the replacement of the heating and air conditioning system

Ark Crisis Child Care Center
$4,100 to purchase and install a sun and shade protection umbrella for the infant/toddler playground

Aurora
$6,500 to reconfigure heating and cooling system ductwork and vents, install energy efficient blowers and dampers, and reposition thermostats

Community Coordinated Child Care of Southern Indiana
$14,046 to purchase carpet for the common training area, stairwells and second floor office space

Dream Center
$3,032 for the purchase of bleachers and protection for support beams in the Dream Center gymnasium

Evansville ARC
$6,939 to replace the heating and cooling system diffusers at the Training Center facility

Evansville Christian Life Center
$10,000 for the purchase and installation of a new commercial-grade dishwasher

Holly's House
$10,000 for the replacement of windows

House of Bread and Peace
$10,000 for replacement of interior doors and privacy fence

Lampion Center
$6,200 for the purchase and installation of a new heat pump furnace system

Patchwork Central
$10,000 to replace three outside condenser units and air conditioner coils for the Meetinghouse

The Potter's Wheel
$19,796 for the purchase and installation of three new air conditioning units to be used to cool the kitchen, serving room and dining hall

The Rehabilitation Center
$10,000 for the purchase of permanent whole-house emergency standby generators for two Rehabilitation Center group homes

The Reitz Home Preservation Society
$15,000 to assist with the replacement of the main roof of the Reitz Home Museum

Southwestern Indiana Regional Council on Aging
$4,231 to install a new floor in the Fitness Center and extend current HVAC duct work into the new office area

St. Vincent's Day Care Center
$8,900 to replace a portion of the roof on the center's Delaware Street building

Tri-State Men's Center
$11,000 to purchase and install a sprinkler fire suppression system for Brother's Keeper prison re-entry transitional housing facility

United Caring Shelters
$5,000 to replace the flooring in the Emergency Night Shelter

YWCA of Evansville
$8,741 to assist with kitchen renovation
